Company Mission
Direct from the company website, "Vantel Pearls offers all individuals an opportunity to work in peaceful balance with their priorities, and to work without anger, stress or manipulation."
History
Vantel Pearls in the Oyster is exactly what it states. Demonstrators bring
oysters to home parties and show pearls in the oyster. The customer selects an
oyster, each one guaranteed to house a white, pink, blue or black pearl. The
demonstrator opens the oyster, retrieves the pearl, appraises the pearl and then
offers a selection of jewelry settings from which to choose to display the pearl.
Showings are called Vantel Pearl Parties.
The concept started when Joan Hartel was in Hawaii and saw the oysters with
pearls inside. She then brought the idea home starting a home based business.
For three years, she sold only retail and then in 1990, the Vantel Pearl Parties
were formed.
Products
Simply put, pearls are the products. Once the pearl is extracted from the
oyster, a beautiful jewelry setting may be chosen. Rings, pins crosses, earrings,
body art, charms, plain strands and pendants are available in 14K Gold, Sterling
Silver and Vermeil metals.
As many brides wear a strand of pearls or pearl earrings on their wedding days,
Vantel has created a special bridal program. The pieces are beautiful gifts for
the females in the bridal party as well.
The company offers a couple trinkets for men.
Product Guarantee: no information available.
Compensation Plan
Retail sales commissions for Demonstrators holding parties are twenty-five percent. Bonuses are offered for helping others to sell. And building a team pays out on five levels. The company also offers contests, trips and a national conference.
