Company Mission
People come first before profits. Many companies make this statement and very few really mean it. But one might say that the philosophies of Premier Designs are different than most companies. Being a family held business, the Horners believe in God first, family second and career third. Their sole goal is to help others, enrich lives and provide everyday people with a way to find personal happiness and success.
History
Andy Horner emigrated from Ireland to Canada as a child, where he met his future wife Joan while in high school. After returning from the war, the couple was married and relocated to Dallas, Texas. Andy spent many years in the corporate world with companies such as Johnson Wax, Xerox Corporation, and Home Interiors and Gifts.
Joan spent many years at Home Interiors and Gifts as well. When Andy was sixty
years of age, the couple decided that they had had enough of the corporate world
and always striving for continually higher profits. He decided that what counted
most was people and with his deep spiritual devotion, wanted to begin a business
that would enable him and his wife to help others. Joan, too, felt that people
were important and her basic mantra is to keep things personal.
Premier Designs was founded and is still based on the mandate of the Horners, to
support ministries around the world and to run a business based on biblical
principles.
Products
While there are only a few pieces of the jewelry shown on the Premier Designs
websites, the pieces are stunning. One would need to order a catalog to see the
full extent of this collection.

Compensation Plan
This is a very simple pay plan but one which motivates and rewards the Jewelers
immediately. When a Jeweler holds a party, she is able to keep fifty percent of
the proceeds and then sends in the other fifty percent to the company for the
purchase of the customers' orders from the party or show.
Not only is this marketing plan simple for all people to understand but it has a
very big advantage over other plans wherein it allows everyone to play on a
level field. Levels of different commissions do not exist and Jewelers do not
have to make sales quotas in order to make it to fifty percent profits.
In addition to the standard fifty percent margin for all Jewelers, the company
also pays ten percent on three levels of downline. This means that Jewelers are
rewarded ten percent of the sales of people whom they sponsor into the business.
Again, this is the same for everyone so it is much easier for people to attain
their goals each month.
Community or Charitable Work
In order to ensure that Premier Designs forever stays on the right course of the
original mandate of helping others and in order to provide support to
ministries, the Horner-Premier Foundation was created in 1992. Once all working
expenses and reserves are met, contributions are made to the Foundation which
helps missionary families in America and in forty-four other countries
In addition to the foundation, Premier donates the profits of the Cure pin,
which they designed in 2004, to help in the fight against breast cancer. Profits
from their recently created, Patriotic bracelet, go to Operation Homefront which
helps American troops and the families of fallen soldiers.
